Vista October CTP

I've bravely used the October CTP of Vista as the primary OS on my main laptop for the last 2 weeks so I could get closer to it.

In general, it's surprisingly stable for the work I do. There are of course serious performance issues, and some irritating bugs like a BSOD when hibernating and applications not liking the locked down OS when logged in as a non-admin, but in the main, it is a certain improvement over XP.

I'm waiting for Beta 2 before looking at support for group policy control, imaging, scripted/unattended build, and so on

I'm back to XP now, as there really isn't that much in the October CTP to get familiar with.
